Hello Blossom Babes,
I wanted to share a bit about my journey. My passion for nails began at age 6 when I received my first nail set, which made me feel magical and confident, even as a child. At 11, I took my first nail class in Jalisco, Mexico, where I learned the basics of acrylic application. Back in the U.S., I practiced on friends and gradually built my skills and confidence. Despite my mom's doubts about a career in cosmetology, I followed my heart after high school. I trained at El Camino College, balancing part-time jobs to support myself. After working at several salons and gaining experience, I opened Blossom Beauty Bar. Opening Blossom was a dream come true but came with challenges. The pandemic forced us to close for almost a year, but I adapted by selling press-on nails and offering house calls. These difficult times strengthened my resolve and showcased my work to a broader audience. As we celebrate four years of Blossom Beauty Bar, I'm grateful for the unwavering support of my clients and the lessons I've learned. My journey has taught me the importance of perseverance and following your passion, no matter the obstacles. To anyone with dreams: pursue them tirelessly and fearlessly.
